Hail in North Dakota

August seems to be flying by and the OCF crews are keeping busy as always.  Chris’ crew in Richardton,ND had baseball sized hail Wednesday night. Luckily we will still cut the wheat crop with only 30% damage and a new windshield and body work on his pickup.  Jake and his crew will move into Canada by Monday.  They will hopefully start by the middle of next week.  Luke and some of his guys will be finishing in Mott, ND in a week.  The crop has been poor in this area.  Kyle and his crew moved to Bisbee, ND today to start our last job in ND.  AJ and his guys are in Hebron, ND and making progress everyday.

Chad and I were able to take a short trip to the John Deere Classic to watch Travis.  It was a warm but great day of golf and friends.  Travis golfed well and was on a team with some great people.  They had a good day of golf with JJ Henry who was the pro they golfed with this year.  We traveled to Moline with Travis’ daughter Emily and her friend Nick.  Besides the highlight of watching her Dad play golf in a pro am tournment, Emily and Nick were able to meet Jake Owen.

Fall sports practices have begun in our area and the start of school is in less than 2 weeks.  Not sure where the summer went but that must mean we have been blessed with good crews, good times and good memories being made. Hope you enjoy your last few weeks of summer.
