11/08 The end in sight?
We saw a little snow off and on today. It wasn't really anything to affect the harvest but that time of year is right around the corner!
Harvest is still going strong! The crew finished up with Chad's corn tonight so that's nice to have done. However, there's still many custom acres to cut. Chad kind of works his own crops in here and there but the priority goes to the customer. The guys will all work until mid afternoon on Saturday and then we will get ready for our annual harvest party which begins at 6:00 Saturday night. Everyone will also have Sunday off to rest after the party!
After talking to Chad tonight, if the weather holds out, he's thinking that we could be done with harvest in one week. We'll see!!
