Good morning. I talked to Scott for a bit this morning and he said there's a 50% chance of rain again today! They haven't cut since last Friday! The forecast up there looks like sunny and windy tomorrow and Saturday looks okay as well and then a chance of storms again on Sunday. » read more

10/10/08 Harvested some corn
Good morning. We took out a small field of corn late yesterday afternoon. It was a litte wet but not bad. We have some additional fields that are getting close but we got another small shot of rain last night so I'm sure when or if any combines will be running today or not!
Pheasant season opens tomorrow morning!
Chad's wife, Pam, and some others have organized a marathon for our elementary kids and that is taking place tomorrow morning. I believe 70+ kids will be participating. I'm not exactly sure how many miles they will be running! It should be a fun event. Good small town stuff!
