Good morning. I thought God liked golf. I guess not! The rain is coming down in sheets here at home right now!! Golf league today? I doubt it! Bummer.
It's sprinkiling a bit in Enid, OK this morning so there won't be any cutting again today. Chad said by the end of the day, they'll be caught up with any and all repairs so hopefully they can get back into the fields sometime soon. We either pray for rain or pray for no rain! Ugh.
Thank you for the coments that many of you are sending regarding the diary on the website. Keep 'em coming and keep coming to our website. I will be giving away a color TV for our millionth reader. :)

Hi Travis I follow your diary quite closely as was interested in coming to work the harvest last year. Really enjoy seeing the updates! I was lucky enough to get a junior position with and Agric commodity trading company in South Africa where I am now. Our market here follows what happens in CBOT and at the moment our maize price is rising even though we have a bumper crop (in SA terms) on the way! I have seen and read reports from the USA about how badly the weather is affecting the corn crop. Some talks of fertilizer being a problem now with all the leaching. Have even seen pictures of tractors up to their wheel arches in water! On the other hand there are talks of the wheat yields being pushed up with the cool wet weather. My question is, how bad is it really? I mean corn prices are reaching record highs daily.. Interested to hear your comments Brgds Michael

Hi OCF It look like it is going too be the same as last year where we left some fields behind because of the rain. I hope that isn't the case. Sent my regards to every one of the harvest run 2007
