6/16 and 6/17 Rains now pounding OKlahoma
Good morning. Sorry about not having an entry yesterday. Things were busy around the office and I just didn't get 'er done!
I called and talked to Pam this morning and she said it was pouring outside today already. So, the guys will be taking some time off again. The wheat has continued to yield well but these showers are really slowing things up.
It rained for a bit during mid day yesterday but they were able to get back in the fields yesterday after that rain. We cannot control Mother Nature so we just have to wait it out.
Chad and Pam's daughter, Claire, had her sixth birthday yesterday. Our parents, Alden and Janet, along with my daughter, Emily, traveled to Oklahoma over the weekend so they could spend the day with Claire. It sounds like they had a lot of fun down there and they are traveling back home today. I sent a camera with Emily so we'll see what kind of pictures she took for the website (keep in mind she's only 10!) I'll create a new photo gallery showing their weekend. I hope to do that tomorrow. I have a feeling the pictures will be mostly pools and campers!! We'll see.
