6/30/08 Cutting continuing to go well
Good morning. Jake's crew got done with a large job near Pond Creek, OK last night. The farmers that crew was cutting for were very pleased with the work that OCF provided and commented on how great the guys were to work with. They had a nice barbeque for the guys last night around 9:00 at their home. Please see the attached picture.
Scott's crew finisthed up a job near Dighton over the weekend and are now cutting near Scott City, KS this morning and the wheat is still a little wet. The ground is dry enough for the combines but the moisture was around 17% so they are looking for some dryer wheat to cut this morning for that farmer.
Luke and his crew are cutting some nice wheat near Healy, KS. They got about 500 acres cut over the weekend of about a 1400 acre job.
Hennie, Willie, Nico were running combines with Dan, Andrew, Philip doing the trucking and Andre on the grain cart near Dighton, KS the past few days. They hammered out a 1200 acre job in a few days there with some nice weather. The farmer they were cutting for had all those guys and Chad out to his place for breakfast this morning.
