Good morning. I talked to Scott for a bit this morning and he said there's a 50% chance of rain again today! They haven't cut since last Friday! The forecast up there looks like sunny and windy tomorrow and Saturday looks okay as well and then a chance of storms again on Sunday. » read more

10/28/08 Happy Birthday Jan!
Good morning. First of all, today is Jan's birthday (pictured on the right) so we all wish him a happy birthday today! As we were hoping, he gets to spend his birthday in the field!
The weather has been good for harvest since Saturday so the guys have been going strong! The guys are all spread out again but we're all within 40 miles or so of home.
Jake and his crew will hopefully be done in Pierre this week from cutting milo.
The forecast looks good through the weekend so it will be busy around here! (It's supposed to be 66 degrees here tomorrow! Hmmm. Wednesday. 66 degrees with no wind. Hmmm. Men's Day.)
