7/2/08 Weather's good but the wheat is wet
Good morning. Chad said there may be a couple of down days because the wheat is just a little too wet and the elevators won't accept the loads. I don't think the guys will mind having a couple days to relax a bit.
I couldn't get ahold of Luke this morning but I do think he and his crew are still cutting. I think they'll get done with a 1500 acre job by the end of the day the way it sounds.
What I've really noticed this year is the camaraderie between our crews and the farmers we're cutting for. I hear about the guys having a lot of fun (and working hard) with the farmers and their families. It's nice to have those relationships and we appreciate our customers going the extra mile for our crews.
Have a great day! You might notice my mood is a little more upbeat today and that's because .............. it's MEN'S DAY!!!!! I should just say it's GOLF DAY as I don't mean to offend any of the ladies by emphasizing MEN'S!!! Have a good Wednesday.
