Good morning. I talked to Scott for a bit this morning and he said there's a 50% chance of rain again today! They haven't cut since last Friday! The forecast up there looks like sunny and windy tomorrow and Saturday looks okay as well and then a chance of storms again on Sunday. » read more

08/26/09 Happy Anniversary Mom & Dad!
Good morning! It's our parents' 44th wedding anniversary today! Happy Anniversary Mom and Dad!
I talked to Luke and they will be cutting in just a few minutes but I couldn't get ahold of Scott or Luke. It sounds like some of the crews were cutting late into the night last night. Good!!

Scott called back and he said the forecast looks good and they are cutting as well today. So, I think all the machines are running in ND today!!

Travis, I'm back in Florida now, Chad and his crew did a great job and the spring wheat ran 50.2 bu/ac. Pretty good for a ND county that averages 30. Above average rainfall was a big help.
