Good morning. I talked to Scott for a bit this morning and he said there's a 50% chance of rain again today! They haven't cut since last Friday! The forecast up there looks like sunny and windy tomorrow and Saturday looks okay as well and then a chance of storms again on Sunday. » read more

10/29/09 Denton Schwartz farming with Grandpa
Good morning. In between all the rains, we have been able to get quite a bit of fieldwork done over the past couple weeks. We have another rain day today but it's supposed to clear off in a day or two and then we'll be back at it with a stretch of warmer weather!
I understand that Denton Schwartz, son of Trevor and Lana Schwartz of White, SD, has been helping Grandpa Overby in the fields this week with a 9770 JD STS that Grandpa Overby rents from Olsen Custom Farms. My wife, Cristy, is Denton's elementary principal at Deubrook Elementary in Toronto, SD. She knows how much Denton enjoys spending time in the OCF combine with Grandpa! It's raining today, though, Denton so I hope you are back in school!!!!!
